Products
Where are your products made?
All of our products are handcrafted in Japan by Japanese artisans.
How are the products shipped from Japan to Switzerland?
To minimize our environmental impact, we use surface mail (by boat) to ship products from Japan to Switzerland. This method takes approximately 3–4 months but significantly reduces carbon emissions compared to air freight.
Do you restock sold-out items?
It depends on the artisan. Some recreate previous designs, while others prefer to experiment with new forms and techniques, meaning many items are one-of-a-kind and may not be restocked.
Shipping
Where do you ship?
We offer worldwide shipping from Switzerland.
When will my order arrive?
Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding Swiss national holidays. Please allow 3–4 business days for processing. Shipping time depends on your location and selected delivery option.
What are the shipping costs?
Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout. Orders within Switzerland over CHF 200 ship free of charge.
Can I pick up my order?
Yes! Local pickup is available by appointment in Zurich, Kreis 5. To arrange a time, please email hello@tede.world.

Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations
What is your return policy?
We accept returns and exchanges on unused and undamaged items within 14 days of delivery. To start a return or exchange, please email us at hello@tede.world.
How can I return an item?

Please note that return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. We cannot refund original shipping fees.
What if my item arrives damaged?
If your item arrives damaged, please email us within 7 days of delivery at hello@tede.world. Include your order number and clear photos of the packaging and the item. The more detail you provide, the easier it is for us to file a claim with the carrier and resolve the issue promptly. Once we’ve reviewed your case, we’ll be happy to offer either a replacement or a refund, depending on product availability and your preference.
Can I exchange an item?
Since our products are made in small batches, availability is limited. If you want to exchange an item, we recommend placing a new order for the piece you want, then returning the original item by following our return instructions.
Can I cancel my order?
You can cancel your order if it has not yet been shipped. Once it has been sent out, we are no longer able to make changes or cancellations.

Is my payment information secure?
Absolutely. We never store your payment details. All transactions are securely processed through trusted providers such as WooCommerce, Stripe and other authorized platforms.
How are customs duties and taxes handled?
If you are ordering from outside Switzerland, your order may be subject to local customs duties or taxes. These fees depend on your country's regulations and are your responsibility upon delivery.
